27 million people have signed up for Apple Music
Today at Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference the company announced their music streaming service had hit 27 million subscribers.
This number may seem large, but in comparison to its major competitor Spotify (with 100 million and counting), it's relatively small potatoes. Apple also announce the HomePod, which is essentially their equivalent to the Amazon Echo, complete with Siri functionality and a hefty $350 price tag.
With the service diving into more visual content, it will be interesting to see whether Apple can truly carve their own niche of the streaming business.
