The Mighty Pujols
A rare feat was achieved last night. More rare than a blood moon. More rare than Halle's comet. Last night, Albert Pujols of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim hit a grand slam and etched his name in the history books.
For you see, this was no ordinary home run. Nor was it any ordinary grand slam. But rather, this monumental achievement has only been reached by eight other professional baseball players in the entire history if the game. Over 100 years of baseball and only eight other players ever have made this accomplishment. You can literally count them on your hands.
Last night, Albert Pujols hit his 600th home run. Let that sink in. 600 home runs in a professional baseball career. The crazy thing is he's still not done yet. Just imagine 600 home runs. It's an insane amount of baseballs being hit over the wall. Start counting to 600 and then you'll understand how epic this achievement is. Go ahead, I'll wait.
