Warner Bros. would like to reintroduce you to George Jetson
The new hot project over at Warner Bros. television department is a remake of the 1960s cartoon set in the future. The twist here is that instead of it being animated, it will be a multi-cam live action studio setting. That's right, live action based on a cartoon from the 60s, now that sounds familiar...
Just like the original, this new reboot will be set 100 years into the future so 2118 roughly. Robert Zemeckis is on board to executive produce the show along with Family Guy executive producer Gary Janetti. With The Orville over at Fox, would audiences be ready for two shows set in the far future? This one sounds like it needs to return to the drawing board. Literally.
